Royal Blu Pepto Cat “Thunder” is a 2016 bay roan stallion sired by Once In A Blu Boon (LTE $318,000, and sire of over $14.5 million in progeny earnings) and out of CD Chica San Cat. Thunder’s pedigree is backed by some of the strongest maternal lines in the industry, including his maternal grandam, CD Chica San Badger (dam of NCHA Futurity winner and 17 million-dollar sire CD Olena).

Thunder has proven his abilities in the show pen as a finished cutter, as well as excelling in Versatility Ranch Horse events, where he earned High-Point All-Around titles and a 2023 AQHA VRH World Show qualification.

More importantly, he is proving himself as a sire. His oldest offspring, including Deep Eddyy, are already making an impact in the industry. “Eddy”, with Sheridan Clark in the saddle, won the 2023 4-year-old Intermediate Non Pro Championship with an impressive 222-point run.
